Patience

Patience.

This is not something I am good at. I never have been and I'm guessing I am probably never going to be a very patient person. 

I can say I am much better now that I'm getting older. Wow I sound like I'm 90. No but really maybe it just takes time.

I remember being pregnant was the worst thing ever I had to wait a whole 9 months. it almost killed me every time.

I am the same way when I get on the scale. when I see that I've only lost a pound I want to cry. But then I remember losing a pound is better than gaining a pound right? It took me seven years and 4 kids to put on this weight so I guess I can't expect it to just fall off over night, even though that would be awesome! 

So patience is my new motto in life. If I keep doing what I'm doing eventually I will be where I want to be. 

All it takes is a little patience.

Life

It's been a while. I kinda missed the old blog.... well kinda:) Time keeps racing by, we keep getting older. Shane is working and planning on applying to PA school in the near future and I just finished school for medical assisting. The girls are doing great, growing up too fast. Summer flew by. seriously why does summer go so fast but winter just freaking drags on? I am happy it's Fall though I LOVE fall it's the happiest time of the year.. It's Hoodie season! 

I have lost about 13 pounds in last two months, which I am pretty dang excited about. Just from working out and eating healthier. No crazy pills or fad diets. I have more to lose but it's a great start! So I will probably start posting more about my weight loss journey. Join me if you'd like:)

Been a while..

Wow it's been a while.. 

I really haven't been into blogging lately but I thought I'd catch up on the fabulous happenings of the Ivers fam:) 

Presley turned 9, Hadley turned 2!  They just keep getting big which is good and bad all at the same time. 

And We are pretty much lame..Just work and school and not really much fun but whats new right?

I turned the big 3-0!! 

I really can't believe I am thirty. I may have had a few meltdowns (ok maybe a lot of meltdowns) leading up to thirty but I'm much better now. I think Shane is having a harder time with me being 30 (we've been together since I was16.) than I am now. He's old:)

  I 'm ready to be 30. I am happy where I am in life and have lots of plans for the future!

Kindergarten....already.

Our little Dylann started kindergarten last week. 

I can not even describe how excited she was. She is the sweetest little girl ever and I am kind of sad she is getting so big. She loves her teacher, which is a huge plus right. 

The other day when I went to pick her up her teacher told me what an angel she is...but of course I already knew that! 

We just love our Dilly and I'm so happy she loves school.:)

She picked out her own outfit for the first day and she looked so cute. Her favorite color is purple. Did you know Justin Bieber's fav color is purple too? She is obsessed with him. Should I worry? she is only 5 after all.. 

 She made sure she took a pic with her lil sis. Hadley (aka pebbles) just loves her.

Second and Third

I have a 2nd and 3rd grader!!

 I can't believe how fast summer went. We were totally lame this summer Shane was in school 99% of it so we didn't really do much but I think hope my girls still enjoyed their summer. They sure were excited to go today, 

Dylann starts kindergarten next week she is beyond excited! Shane also starts back up next week at uvu. fun fun stuff I tell ya.

We went to thanksgiving point gardens today for two dollar tuesdays someday I want my backyard to look like that..and pay somebody to take care of it of course!

Here's to hoping for an excellent school year!

The Graduate

My most fabulous hubby is a college graduate!! Wahoo!! He now has his Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy! I'm so proud of him. He worked so hard and got awesome grades the whole time! He has decided to keep going to school to become a Physicians Assistant. We are both so sick of school but very excited for what the future holds:)

 

The Fourth

We had a fun 4th of July it is definitely one of our favorite holidays. We went to the parade, had two bbq's with our families and ended the night watching the stadium of fire fireworks from our front porch! All of us must have been exhausted because everyone slept in until 9 this morning and that doesn't happen very often...it was fabulous!!
